Communities Reached with Hygiene Education
From drought-stricken villages to crowded displacement camps, clean water and sanitation save lives. Here are a few real stories from our WASH interventions.
When SFH rehabilitated a broken borehole in Afmadow, hundreds of families no longer had to walk for hours to fetch water. Children returned to school, and women found more time for income-generating activities.
School hygiene clubs supported by SFH taught students about handwashing and menstrual hygiene. These youth are now ambassadors for health, spreading knowledge to their peers and families.
